We have a bottom-up long-term philosophy to investing and tend to be opportunistic in our approach to implementing our investment strategy. Our focus is on direct investments in companies in the fields of insurance and financial services (B2B), but we also target traditional companies in niche markets and succession solutions (excluding real estate).:

Sustainable and defendable competitive advantage
Strong returns on invested capital
Solid cash flow generation with high return opportunities for reinvestment
Alignment of incentives with the management team

We avoid early-stage, exploration, rapid growth, turnaround, technology, life sciences, and real estate development-related opportunities.
